Update 04 Dec 2012
The rain was causing all kinds of problems tonight so the show had to be canceled. Hopefully we will be up and running for tomorrow night.

For information on how we accomplish all this, be sure to check out the blog.

We are broadcasting on 102.7 FM. Be sure to tune your radios to 102.7 so that you can enjoy the show to the fullest.

Show Information:

  • We’re located next to the Fire Station on East Main St., Brewster, OH 44613
  • The show runs from the Friday after Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve, every night from 6PM until 10PM. The show may be suspended should there be rain, as rain and lots of electricity don’t mix.
  • If you choose to turn off your headlights, please keep your parking lights on for safety
  • Tune your radio to 102.7 FM to hear the music and watch the light show from the warmth of your own car.
  • Please respect our neighbors and do not block their driveways, park on their lawns or leave trash anywhere.
  • Please be aware of the Fire Station next door. Give any approaching emergency vehicles the right-away, and leave the fire station driveway clear at all times.
  • Please do not turn around in the neighbors’ driveways.

From our family to yours… Have a very Merry Christmas and may God bless you and your family.

Wow… How do you accomplish so many channels? Did you custom build the controller? I would be very interested in hearing about how you started. I’ve been reading all of the forums you linked for a couple of weeks and it’s overwhelming.

I built the controllers, however I didn’t design them. Most of the stuff I’m running now came from http://www.diylightanimation.com. The large channel count comes from the pixels that I have running around my roof line. Each one is individually addressable and has three channels a piece, so they add up quickly. This isn’t a hobby you can really just jump into. The first few years I spent a lot of time researching and building. Lately it’s kind of died off as being “fun” for me, but I still enjoy it around the holidays and keep it up. It’s hard to get a handle on how much money is involved also because so much of it I built and bought parts here and there. I really don’t want to know how much money I have in it either.
